My Story

My passion for photography started at an early age, in the era of films and processing lab. But that was an expensive hobby for a young student; expenses limited my prospective, and in time my passion faded away. Luckily, the digital camera era didn’t take too long to arrive and make photography more accessible to a larger segment of people.

One of the fondest memories of the good old film days is the sixteen years old me and my best friend trying hard to take photos of a full solar eclipse, using a salvaged piece of welding dark glass to cover the lens, and an ancient Soviet made camera; that had a very, very awkward focusing mechanism.

Over the past three decades, I have been lucky to live in six countries on three continents, and interact with a wide array of cultures, languages, and individuals from diverse backgrounds, which have helped me to develop a comprehensive outlook on the world and a profound understanding of life in it
Apart from photography, I find great enjoyment in dedicating my free time either to my favourite culinary pursuits in the kitchen or to the golf course.
